Set against the backdrop of centuries-old stone walls and sleek skyscrapers, the story follows their quest to unravel the mysteries of the past and shape the course of the future. As characters navigate the complexities of time travel, the stage becomes a canvas for the fusion of historical charm and contemporary flair.

The play is set in the present day, where the juxtaposition of medieval architecture and modern-day urban landscapes creates a dynamic and visually striking backdrop for the unfolding drama.

Your Extra Element:

In addition to designing the medieval castle and modern cityscape, your extra challenge is to create a transformative set piece that symbolizes the passage of time and serves as a visual anchor for the temporal journey. Whether it's a mystical portal, a shimmering time vortex, or an ancient artifact, let your design capture the essence of time travel and guide the audience on an unforgettable journey through the ages.

Characters:

• Dr. Marcus Bennett:
• A brilliant physicist and expert in quantum mechanics, Dr. Bennett's groundbreaking research leads to the discovery of a temporal anomaly that allows characters to travel through time. His determination and curiosity drive him to unravel the mysteries of the universe and unlock the secrets of time travel.
• Elena Ramirez:
• A modern-day historian with a passion for unraveling the secrets of the past, Elena Ramirez's quest for knowledge leads her on a journey through time. Her keen intellect and adventurous spirit make her an invaluable ally in the fight against darkness.
• Sir William of Everwood:
• A noble knight from the medieval era, Sir William is guided by honor and chivalry as he embarks on a quest to save his kingdom from darkness. His unwavering courage and sense of duty make him a hero for the ages.
• Lord Alexander Blackwood:
• A dark and enigmatic figure with ties to both the medieval and modern worlds, Lord Blackwood's true motives remain shrouded in mystery. His manipulative nature and thirst for power threaten to unravel the fabric of reality itself.
  

Requirements:

• Basic Requirements:  Must incorporate a medieval castle, modern cityscape, and a transformative set piece that symbolizes the passage of time.
• Make-Believe Budget:  $30,000
• Setting Details:  Present-day setting, with a medieval castle and modern cityscape serving as the backdrop for the temporal journey.
  
• Submission Guidelines:  3D renderings, sketches, models, or whatever you like!  It should be accompanied by a brief description of design choices, no more than 75 words.
  
• Judging Criteria:  Creativity, practical use, integration of the extra element, and overall visual impact.  It must serve the story.

Prizes:

Our favorite 3 submissions will each receive a free tshirt of their choosing from our store.

Rules

• Entries must be submitted by the last day of the month.
• One entry per person, per challenge.
• Your design must be original. No stealing.
• You can't use AI to generate the final product.
• You must be a member of our little Facebook Community.
• You must be over 18 to win prizes.
• Participants retain ownership of their designs but grant us the right to showcase entries on the website and related promotional materials.
• If you get booted from the Facebook Group for breaking the rules, you will also be disqualified from any ongoing design challenges.
